This is a summary of the article we read. The Voyage Of Exploration By Elinor Chisholm. I think the writers purpose when he wrote this book is, he wanted us to be aware of who created the sea life classification system. And about what the scientists on the Tangaroa are discovering on their 42 day voyage around New Zealand. something I found out is that 7 new species are discovered every fortnight! 

Pre Test Science

Today we started our science topic. I sat an online test to capture what I already knew about classifying animals. I think I have gaps in classifying.                 

Pepeha And Mihi

We are learning to know the meaning of common kupu used in mihi and pepeha. These are some kupu used in basic mihi, I now know how to say a basic mihi and pepha. The things I need to learn is how to greet manuhiri.
