 In class, we did doing a novel study on the book Wringer written by Jerry Spinelli. 

What Is Courage?

For devotions, we are looking at what courage is, who in the Bible was courageous, courageous people in the world and why the world needs courageous people.  

 

Character Inference

In class, we learned how to do character inferences. An inference is when you take clues about something from the text and your prior knowledge. To do a character inference you do this just with a character. It was challenging at first but once I got going it was quite easy.  

Credible - Believable

 Great authors make characters with believable personalities. They show personalities through these: Actions, dialogue/direct speech, reactions, physical descriptions & thoughts. I can see this in Beans' character. He is obnoxious and has a loud, mocking, demanding personality. It is shown in the story when beans scoops the icing off palmers birthday cake and eats it. Beans even goes to the point where he blows the candles off Palmers birthday cake.   

Simple Probability

 We have been learning to calculate probability, in maths. Probability is the likelihood of something happening. these are simple slides we did to help us extend our knowledge on probability.
