Our learning focus in maths has been: how to find the area of triangles.
To solve these questions we:
- Find the area of the rectangle (Times the length by the height)
- Find the area of the non-shaded triangle, Half the base (can be anywhere) then times it by the height (needs to be perpendicular to the base)
- Then subtract the two measurements.
